A few clarifications on the Grand Annual

Grand Annual Gifts are Parish-specific – for use in the parish you designate

and are NOT comingled between parishes.

St. Brendan’s overall goal is $100,000 with a minimum of $75,000 needed to begin construction.

St. Ann’s overall goal is $75,000 – the letter was sent in error without the final edit being included which was to clarify the overall need. The clarification is that $25,000 of the total goal will be used to start a much-needed reserve fund

for the Parish which presently does not exist.

We are most grateful to the parishioners who have responded so generously to date!

In order for the Grand Annual to be a success for each parish,

we ask all parishioners to prayerfully consider their support of the parishes they truly love.

Additional Grand Annual Packets are available in both churches.

Paschal Candle

Throughout the Easter Season, the Paschal Candle burns brightly in the sanctuary as a symbol of the Risen Christ,

who is the light of the world.

Along with its use at baptisms, the Paschal Candle is also lit when one’s earthly life comes to a close.

If you would like to make a donation to the Paschal Candle at either St. Ann or St Brendan in memory of a loved one,

please contact Amy at the Parish office for more information.

We have initiated a new way to pray for and remember of loved ones by sponsoring the Sanctuary Lamp and weekend offertory gifts of bread and wine, in memory of a loved one. The seven day candle will burn for a week, at the tabernacle, with your special intention or in memory of your loved one, as you have requested. The special intention and or your loved ones will be honored and remembered with the prayers of our parish at the offertory as they are presented and used at the weekend Masses. This is a nice way to remember birthdays, anniversaries and to offer special prayers and intentions for our loved ones. The suggested offering or donation of $10.00 is accepted for the for the Sanctuary Lamp and $20.00 for the week-end offertory gifts can be booked at the rectory.
